SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES of The Center of Jesus the Lord are one way the Church provides an opportunity for ordinary people to help each other connect life and faith. They were established at the Center of Jesus the Lord in 2012.
In our Small Christian Communities, we share personal life experiences through the lens of faith. Small Christian Communities gather for prayer, reflection, support, and learning while enjoying fellowship. The studies for each community are Catholic based and selected by the community, and approved for use by Center of Jesus, Spiritual Director of Rev. Anthony Inam.
While Small Christian Communities meet regularly, each group decides its own schedule. Groups meet weekly, and the day of the week and times vary between the groups. We have groups in New Orleans, Metairie, Terrytown and Chalmette. Some groups meet in a common location while others meet in each others homes.
